A new song from Blood Mountain, the new record from Mastodon is posted here. It's entitled "Crystal Skull." It's pretty good. The record is released September 12th. Mastodon is one of the handful of metal bands I like. What do you guys think?
Great sludge metal. Can't wait for the new album, I have Leviathan, Remission, and Call of the Mastodon, as well as their DVD The Workhorse Chronicles. There's no way I'm passing Blood Mountain up.
I didn't know it was Cedric, the vocalist. I was thinking it was the drummer, since he's a gigantic Mastodon fan. But I think a lot of them are. Apparently Leviathan was the first metal record the keyboardist ever purchased. I can't wait for this album, though.
