    VICKI f English
    Pronounced: VIK-ee
    Pet form of VICTORIA

Since that didn't give me anything (and I like Victoria better anyway):

VICTORIA (1) f English, Spanish, Romanian, Ancient Roman
    Pronounced: vik-TOR-ee-a
Feminine form of VICTORIUS. This name was borne by a long-reigning queen of England. A Canadian city bears this name in her honour, as well as an Australian state and several other geographic areas.

They call me Queenie at work, thanks to Paul, the van driver who started it all by doing the Queen wave.

    DÁVID m Hungarian
    Hungarian form of DAVID

DAVID m English, Jewish, French, Russian, Czech, Biblical
    Pronounced: DAY-vid (English), da-VEED (French)
Possibly derived from Hebrew dod meaning "beloved". David was the second and greatest of the kings of Israel, ruling in the 10th century BC. Several stories about him are told in the Old Testament, including his defeat of Goliath, a giant Philistine. Jesus was supposedly descended from him. Other famous bearers of this name include the 5th-century patron saint of Wales, two kings of Scotland, empiricist philosopher David Hume, and explorer David Livingstone. This is also the name of the hero of Charles Dickens' semiautobiographical novel 'David Copperfield'.

    KATRINA f English
    Pronounced: ka-TREE-na
    Variant of CATRIONA

    :shifty:

    CATRIONA f Irish, Scottish
    Pronounced: ka-TREE-na
    Gaelic form of KATHERINE

    KATHERINE f English
    Pronounced: KATH-u-rin, KATH-rin
From the Greek name Aikaterine. The etymology is debated: it could derive from the earlier Greek name Hekaterine, which came from hekateros "each of the two"; it could derive from the name of the goddess HECATE; it could be related to Greek aikia "torture"; or it could be from a Coptic name meaning "my consecration of your name". The Romans falsely derived it from Greek katharos "pure" and changed their spelling from Katerina to Katharina to reflect this. The name belonged to a 4th-century saint and martyr from Alexandria who was tortured on the famous Catherine wheel. This name was also borne by two empresses of Russia, including Catherine the Great, and by three of Henry VIII's wives.

Well I didn't expect that...

My name: Doesn't exist in any records! Heeheee! :teehee:

MY name is actually Li Sze. It's chinese. Li means 'pretty' (too bad the same can't be said about my face!! :( , Hahahahaaa) And Sze means 'poetry'.

But for some stupid reason my Sze isn't pronounce anything like the spelling! While most ppl who has the name is 'Sze' pronounces it as Zee or Ze (with the teeniest hint or 'r'.. like, Zer), mine is pronounced as 'Sher'.. like the 'shi' in shirt. Stupid isn't it? Sigh.. I always have a hard time correcting people... most of the time I let them call me 'Lizzie', cos that's the way they think it is.... :argh: Bloody heck!

P/s If you type 32517 in a calculator and turn it upside down you get... LISZE!!! hehee, that's where i got my nick from! :D
