Wow. So much for this year then.. Ahh well. It better be good. I don't want another Load/Re-Load/Un-load/Wide-Load/Un-load, Re-load, Un-Load twice, Load again, then completely Unload. There were some good songs on those albums, but i'd prefer something completely new.. different totaly from that.

They look a bit weird to me on that video.
They seem to try to look like a modern band qua clothing,... maybe that's a good thing, though because now they show they're going to make something completely different from their last albums... I don't know

I can't wait to download it. Not because I like Metallica, because I can't stand them, but pirating Metallica's music is fun

    Oh, ok.

...anyway, they work pretty slow. The new song is pretty good, in my opinion.

St. Anger sounded like it was produced in a garage with tin garbage cans as the drumset. For a band as big as Metallica, it was a joke.

If it was any other band, like Mudvayne or something, everyone would've loved it. Metallica just can't win in the eyes of the public.

well if you've made albums like kill em all, ride the lightning,MoP,&justice.., people are bound to expect a lot more.St. Anger made them look like 15 year old kids who've just produced their 1st album.

The drum kits like todd rightly pointer out sounded like trashcans. And what happened to Kirk's solos??James hetfield sounded like he'd forgotten what singing meant. For a band like Metallica it was a big let down. The Unnamed Feeling was the only good song on that album

Well, first off, then it's the public's fault for thinking that Metallica or any band for that matter can continue writing masterpieces for the rest of their natural life. No band is going to do that. Bands just do not have THAT much creativity in them to write an endless amount of amazing CDs. You can't expect Metallica, a band that has been around for over 20 years, to keep writing albums like Master of Puppets or Ride the Lightning.

Just because people can't accept something different from Metallica, it's automatically labelled as a terrible CD. But of course, if it were from a band that hasn't put out an amazing CD, it would be a great CD.

i agree wid you upto a certain point but then if the band members think they are no longer creative enough they should hang up their boots.

Well, they can still make decent music, just not up to the standards they've built with their old CDs.

I think I'm the only person in the world that actually liked St. Anger.
