    It's still pretty impressive that they have make it this far, being that Mike is still promoting Fort Minor.

    But like another user said, previous articles/interviews had me thinking they were already past the halfway point months ago.

    Ehh I guess you can say that taking so long to make an album, gives less probability that it'll suck.

    Of course, that's not always the case.

    Example: Metallica and their St. Anger album.

    I hope it turns out to be one of their best albums and i hope it comes out soon because meteora, hybrid theory, Reanimation and collision course are gettin a little old and i want somethin new and since they say it'll be a new thing and also same LP thats a good thing

    Hey,

    Shouldn't a single be released sometime soon at least??!?
    SOMETHING?!?!?!

    I can't wait any longer, I was expecting them to have the album out by like june-ish lol...guess not....
    and with those tour dates in the summer with Metallica in Japan, how's that going to affect the completion of the album?
    I don't know guys, everything seems to either be really disorganized on LP's part or they're already past the half way point and are already recording or something...
    WHo knows...
    either way.....
    I WANT NEW LINKIN PARK MATERIAL!!!

    I hope it comes out very soon... LP likes good release dates... like meteora march 2003 (03 LP 03) and november 22nd (11-22)... I hope this times it's June 6th, 2006!!!! (06-06-06)... nice... =D

    half way point can mean anything i mean its not like they started 3 years ago and they say they are half way lol god forbid.... they will be finshed soon, im guessing septermber/october time

    just remember writing and recording do take up different time spans, everyone should just be pacient and be glad its scheduled for this year lol

    when things are rushed they usualy turn out pritty crap

    A longer album would be very welcome.

    I think the process of recording after they have finished writing and selecting the best songs will be shorter, since they are skilled and very.. "polished" (?) from all the touring.

    I'm really hoping for a summer release. A lot of my favorite bands are releasing new material this summer, And I'd hate not having new material from my all-time favorite band ;]

    60+ song ideas, and you have a more accurate statement. Like with Meteora, most of the 80+ song ideas they had were used in what composed the album.

    ^^ I wish that it comes true ..... But i don't think LP is going to release a double CD... n By the way, is this news true or what?? is it some rumour kind of thing ?? :s
