In tonight's MSN Chat with Brad Delson, it was revealed that a new DVD may be in the works. After being asked about the possibility of a new DVD, Delson commented: "We're hoping to put out a DVD this Christmas although we have no idea what that DVD will be. (laughs) We've definitely been filming a lot of live footage for release in the future on DVD." The Linkin Park guitarist later added: "I imagine that our next DVD we release could have a similar tone to it [Frat Party at the Pankake Festival]. We were really happy with how that DVD turned out and at the same time we're always challenging ourselves to make better and better stuff." Details have not been specified although the release may be around Christmas. This is great news for all fans looking for even more new LP memorabilia.
I'm not big on fan stuff like this, "T-Shirts, stickers, etc.", I just hate to be a walking billboard for people and things, but, these LP DVD's are nothing like that, and I find them to be quite entertaining. I loved the Frat Party DVD and bought two copies, one for myself and one as a nice little birthday present for a friend. I especially love the footage with LP screwing around everywhere, i'm hoping for more of that, and less concert footage...
I cant wait for the new DVD to come out. I'm going to buy that one and the old one and then I'm going to buy a DVD player to watch them.
That's great news. I'll definitely be getting that. At the M&G of the LPU tour, I saw some guy filming Brad talking about the tips cup.
Maybe they'll put the newscaster footage on it!!! Ahem...I was number 3. I know it's a stupid thing, but hey, it's my 30 seconds of fame!
