"Walking Upon the Edge of Silence" Today is the first day of the rest of my life And I'm scared to death of what's to come my way I'm not sure if I should keep walking Or turn around and run The words I hear every day are scarring They drip from your teeth and stain the floor Asphyxiation would be a welcome happening I'd like to choke the breath out of my lungs If it could keep me from hearing Hearing the thoughts you've formed Though walking upon the edge of silence May not be the best of decisions At least it'd give me a good reason to learn Braille And block out the things you have to say
rofl it's good. it doesn't rhyme, though. i know all poems don't have to, it just bugs me when they don't. 3/5
