Is it true about APC???

I've heard rumours that a perferct circle have split, something to do with Maynard and Tool. But are they true? Does anybody know?

 

Yes. Maynard said that APC is basically done, and he's going to focus on Tool and his wine vineyard. They might re-unite a few times for some shows for charity or something, but he feels APC ran its course and served its purpose.

 

Horrible. Who knew that he was ditching APC fans for his "vineyard". I don't really listen to Tool as much as I listen to A perfect circle. It's a shame.

 

Dammit ! I wanted those rumours not to be true ! Such a pity, great talent and they ended up splitting.

 

I don't think "splitting" is the right word to use. They have just ended.

 

I think it is... because no one's said if the band's broken up, just if he left. Maynard isn't the mastermind behind APC... it's Billy. He wanted a female vocalist originally and I believe he's said if Maynard left he'd try to get one.

 

That wouldn't be bad. APC's style with female vocals. Hmm.

 

I think The Outsider would sound good with a female vocalist but I don't think songs like Counting Bodies.... would sound good with one.

Fine with me. Their early stuff was great...then they started getting all weird and smart, and having sentence long song titles.
