It should have been seen as a joke really, it was a simple thing they did and yes maybe worried some people. But hey who does not know the Smash Bros series? christ overreaction alert! I mean they must be worried now that they could be in prision for panicing people. If you think about it it is the same as putting up posters, but in a more artful expession.
i think the kids need to be taught a lesson, but only as far as community service or something. something like that cannot go unpunished, since they disrupted the whole town and caused the bomb squad and hazmat to come out. people were seriously concerned about this. it's a big deal. but i think community service would make them learn their lesson, and also deter people from trying to do something like that again.
