Don't be an ass. I was just saying the song titles look emo. I didn't say anthing bad about the album or anything.

Okay. At Give It A Name in Manchester, lostprophets played 3 songs off the new album:

    New Transmission
    A Town Called Hypocrisy
    Rooftops (A Liberation Broadcast)

And I'd like to point out that if anyone is worried about this next album being a slump. Don't.

The chorus for Rooftops is: "Standing on the rooftops, everybody scream your heart out" which is sang 3 times and then something else is sang (I dunno what it is). Ian taught the crowd the lyrics to the chorus at the start of the song.

And A Town Called Hypocrisy starts off with a Bloc Party-esque guitar intro and then flows straight into normal lostprophets style.

New Transmission was amazing aswell. It's just plain lostprophets.

That and they played really well live. Kindly reminding people that they weren't Robbie Williams, just incase anyone had come on the wrong day.

In conclusion, their new album is gonna be fucking amazing.

Edit: The new drummer is amazing aswell. He did a drum solo and it blew me away completely.

Fucking hell...I wish people would shut up about all this emo crap, practicly everything is emo in some form wether it's the lyrics, band name or whatever, every fucking band on the planet has some element of emo in it.

I'm totaly with Will on this one...who the fuck cares what the song titles are called...As long as they're good songs.

i might add that a large factor of why lostprophets didn't end up with the "sophomore slump" can easily be attributed to the fact that most people who got "start something" had never heard of or listened to "the fake sound of progress". :D

That's probably one of the most outrageous statements I've ever heard in my life. I mean, if that's the case, Jack Johnson is fucking death metal.

I wouldn't say it's outragous at all. You just wait until Jack Jonhson plays a little song about how his girl left him or something.

Zao had a tremulant past, but they aren't emo in any respect. Norma Jean has one song that deals with mortality (ShaunLuu, named after a friend who died from cancer), but they are sure as hell ain't emo because of it. So yes, your statement is outrageous.

EDIT: And I forgot to mention techno. I mean, can you honestly say that it has elements of emo?

This song is really awesome. I love it.

If conventional album rules exist; if this is one of the least good songs from the new album, 'Liberation Transimission' is going to kick major ass.

Wow, this song is fawking addictive. It's one of those songs that I'll listen to so many times that I get sick of it. Very hyped for this release.

You're welcome, to all that thanked me.

I've listened to it like 20 times, the chorus is addicting and the verses remind me of Hello Again mixed with Make a Move, kind of. I'm definitely hyped for this CD.
