In it's 12th week on the charts, Linkin Park's Meteora is at #21, after dropping 8 spots from last week's position of #13 on the Billboard Top 200. In other Billboard news, Somewhere I Belong is still going strong in it's 16th week on the charts coming in at #6 on the Modern Rock charts. Linkin Park's Faint is also doing well coming in at #13 in it's 7th week on the charts.
There appears to be lots of new entries on the chart though, particularly in the top twenty so that might account for why Meteora has slipped 8 spots. It's been doing around 50,000 sales per week for the last three or four weeks now (which isn't bad at all) and rock wise only Metallica and Evanescence are doing better. I noticed both the new Staind and Deftone CDs are now way down the chart in comparison to Meteora which has been out a lot longer than they have.
BTW for anyone that doesn't know and cares Faint got to number 15 in the Uk singles chart last sunday (15.06.03)
