hey, i downloaded an instrumental version of the rising tied today and wow, the music is just beautiful. I mean duh, we've heard it already, but without lyrics, some of the songs are so much more ambient, it's beautiful. What i was wondering, is has anyone heard when this was going to be released? I went to the official fort minor message board and the thread about it was locked (because they gave away links) and said that it was going to be officially released, but I can not find any announcements or news on it. thanks and sorry if this has been discussed already. and I really like Fort Minor's approach on everything for their fans, they are totally going 1 up on LP. LP fans want exclusive tracks, we get nothing, FM releases one almost monthly. LP fans want an instrumental album, we get nothing, FM says "hey, let's release one".... i hope with the next LP album, Mike applies all this thinking to it.
Actually now I've been hearing that it wasn't even intended to be released to the public at all, someone just leaked it anyway.
i get hear the instrumental version, og god, are so.... i can't explain it... well, im here for someting, i wanna know if somebody of here can help me... i wanna a version of where'd you go, but just with the holly voice. if someone can help me write it! thanks------saheli
What tha?? Where are these FM instrumentals coming from??? I've only heard Cigarettes, Remember The Name, Where'd You Go, Believe Me, Petrified and Slip Out the Back. Where did Right Now come from???
well, i cant buy stuff online, so i either wait for the hard copy of a cd, somehow find bootlegged, or the worst, i dont get it, period................but i'm awaiting a legal copy of "Slip Out The Back" Instrumental
Some of the FM songs are better instrumental in my opinion. I think 100 Degrees and Slip Out The Back would make great instrumentals.
I don't think they'll ever see an official release. I never saw the original auction for the CDs but it's more than likely that they've been leaked from an internal WB cd. They make instrumental versions of most albums nowadays for promotion - they usually send a limited amount of copies out to TV & radio stations to use the music for adverts/programming. If the mod said it was going to be an official release I think it's more likely they just assumed that was why it was released in promo form, because I really cannot see mike commericially releasing an instrumental album. For example, both Gorillaz & Depeche mode's latest albums have had an instrumental version leaked from this type of CD, and you can find a similar promo cd for most major releases in the last year or two.
Correct. I was in on the bidding on the CD, it was an internal CD... Never was able to grab the pics from the auction before it was pulled though.
from "the rising tied"'s instrumentals, all i really want would be ... "red to black", "the hard way", "right now" and/or "high road" ...
^^^^hahaha thats funny nah really it is but like hmmm yea a lil slow to figure out lolz soz no offence i take back any teasing just that yea man yea it made my day
