I just got a DVD writer fitted into my computer today and i've had a little play around. Burnt my Naruto movie onto a DVD so far. However, is there a piece of software i can use to kind of, compress files if i want to put a whole series onto a DVD? I want to put my Naruto seasons onto DVD but i noticed when i burnt the movie, it took up 3.15 GB on the DVD but the file is only 700MB. I've seen people selling anime series on ebay such as Naruto on DVD's but they must have done something to be able to fit them onto there in the first place.

Unless i'm missing something, could someone please fill me in on how to do this? I'm a complete n00b to this whole DVD writing thing.

    Any help is much appreciated.

Hmm. Maybe you're using a program that automatically converts the files into VOB / DVD files when you're about to burn them. What type of files are you burning? I always convert to MPG files, as my DVD player can play them. I'm not sure of a program that can compress files, but I do use WinAVI to convert them, such as AVI > MPG / AVI > DVD etc etc.

Don't put more than 7 episodes on a disc. I always burn between 5 and 10, but by 10 the quality really suffers. DVDSanta s a great program because it can handle OGM and MKV files (to some extent). Just don't put in too many at once.
