That's what I meant, along with the obvious hype it brings if the general public (well, that listens to rock music) hears it.

    Huh?

I don't see how I "[took] things too seriously"... I was just saying I don't think it'll be anything revolutionary (the singing). It'd be interesting to hear, but I think they're just trying to hype it up. I don't see how that's taking things too seriously... I think you lost me. Can you clarify?

Not a fan of the album art, personally. But album art doesn't care when the music's good.

'Cheaters,' the show that this guy hosts, is actually in the area I live in at the moment.

I've passed by one of the 'filmings' on the way to my friend's house.

I was just referring to the part when Casey said "Sigur Ros did it" then you jumped on that and said "I was being sarcastic, but yes, they did... but that doesn't really relate to the point of my post."

But ot me it has everything to do with it cause they did sometihng revolutionary. So why is it not possible for Tool to. I mean yah I doubt it will happen. But I dont see how that comment didn't have anytihng to do with your post.

Not to start a fight or anything but thats just how I saw it.

I wasn't jumping on him or anything like that, sorry if you inteprited it that way. I thought it was obvious I was being sarcastic, so I was clarifying just incase he didn't understand what I meant. And it wasn't the point of my post in that I was being sarcastic -- the point of my post was it seemed to me like the guy was trying to hype the album, hence my comment... it had nothing to do with what I meant, as I wasn't serious about it.

I'm really looking forward to this years April Fools joke. The one last year pissed off a lot of people because they really thought Tool was breaking up. I'm thinking they're going to release a fake single or something this year.

I don't know whether i'm looking forward to Maddox's or Tool's april fools joke this year.

Of course, they may not do one at all. They become predictable these days, although sometimes; case in point: MTV last year, take april fools to the newsdesk.

Wow, I completly missed this thread. Wow.

The host from Cheaters got stabbed in an episode. It was pretty funny/horribly edited.

I saw that on one of those week recap shows or whatever.
It was kind of funny. But also really bizarre.

As Todd has posted in the Album Leak thread, the new single, Vicarious has leaked to the internet. And not just the 30 second sample that was floating around last night. It's the full 7 minute thing.

And I must say... this new album won't be Lateralus 2, if Vicarious is any indication. :D
