Marilyn Manson Film Update

The films title has been announced to be Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll. Marilyn Manson will play Lewis Carrol (yes, the poet and novelist who made Alice In Wonderland), Teen Model Lily Cole will play alice (in wonderland) and Angelina Jolie will play the red queen.

Hellll yeahhh!

I'm looking foreword to this primarily because Manson claims he will try to "redefine the horror genre." Being a huge horror fanatic myself, I'm curious as to how he will go about doing this. Hopefully it's just not some type of artistic horror satire vision or something where the only thing that makes it scary is the unknown.

In other words, I hope the "vision" that Manson has created in the screenplay and story does not reflect the same "visions" he used in Doppelhertz. I loved Doppelhertz, but it would be massively confusing and hard to follow if it was done in that way...

 

i like him singing sweet dreams although i like the original but he's version is koool (soz if off topic i just like that song lol)

 

Seems like a cool movie I won't see it in the cinema though ...

 

I'll definitely check this out just to see how bloody weird it's gonna be.

 

I dunno how Manson got Angelina Jolie to be in this film though...

I also get the feeling that this will be darker than we think and might cause alot of contraversy...Manson has a seriously fucked up mind when it comes to creativity.

I hope he doesn't try to be so groundbreaking that it turns out to just be confusing crap. Tons of people are doing that now.
