that album cover isn't the real one. I remember Adam Jones (I think that's his name) said that they aren't getting a new logo and that the one that's on their site right now is just for effect and is just for the site so that album cover isn't right because it has the "new" logo. 10,000 Days sounds like a joke title but it's not. I can only imagine what Maynard is gonna pull off on April Fools Day if something this horrible is being announced and it's not a joke.
Eh, it's different from other titles, but I don't really think it makes that big of a difference. I mean, De-Loused In The Comatorium is kind of a weird album title, but it's still one of the best albums I've ever listened to. I guess I just don't feel that album titles are that big of a deal. I do agree it sounds a little cheesy and it's a change from other titles, but if a theory like the one Odaton talked about is intact, then I think it's pretty cool.
well just because I don't like it doesn't mean other people can't it's just my opinion. I just think it's a little odd that they went from the technical names to something simple I think they should've named it something cool
I'd buy the album if it had that title just becuase. on another note, i booked my download ticket today... has anyone else seen Tool live, as I'm pretty hyped for it and I'm wondering what they're like live...
Tool really depends live. The Lateralus tour, Maynard sang with his back to the crowd most of the time. All of the other tours, Maynard was engergetic as all hell. It depends on the material, I'd imagine.
Isn't that the name of a simple plan album? Fuck that would be a huge blow to fans if that was the name of the album.

I think it was posted a while back on toolshed.down.net (the semi-official tool website) that the artist of the new tool album art said that maynard's singing on the new album is supposed to be revolutionary. He's supposed to sing in a way no one's ever sung before (I don't get it, but i remember that's what was posted on the website). Only 44 more days till the album is released!!!!!!! I'm anticipating the release of this album more than the new LP album. Ever since I discovered Tool I've been drifting farther and farther away from LP. That is going to continue if the new Tool album is as amazing as I think it will be and if the new Linkin Park album doesn't meet my expectations.
I heard he sings in a new language never before heard to human ears. Seriously... something no one's ever done before? Not to sound like a jerk, but I'll believe it when I hear it. I'm sure they're just trying to hype the album up.
I'm all I'm saying is that it's possible. But it's not going to be anything different. It's just another case of Tool yanking thier fans' collective chains.
