Well, I would be hyped to see Norma Jean, but with the new singer... it just dosn't have the feeling as they used to have live.

But Between The Buried In Me is pretty good.

But I'm not going... I don't want to spend a shit load of money to see only one band.

Might as well be Taste Of Chaos, in my opinion. None of the bands on the bill really are the right fit for Ozzfest (Lacuna Coil on the mainstage? Seriously?).

If Avenged Sevenfold are on the mainstage I might just rip out of my hair. Too bad Meshuggah doesn't have an album out. They'd slay the mainstage, or at the very least the second stage. Too bad, really.

Lest we not forget Disturbed. ...'Nuff said.

Atleast SYL is there to give it all a sprinkle of credibility. And Hatebreed, too.

EDIT: All hail "The Unholy Alliance" tour from now on. That's true fucking metal. I still can't believe AVENGED SEVENFOLD and ATREYU are going to be on Ozzfest. Granted I like Atreyu, but stick to Taste Of Chaos, guys.

Avenged Sevenfold isn't going to play Ozzfest. If I remember right, Shadows said that the band doesn't want to play Ozzfest if Black Sabbath isn't going to play. Or something to that effect.

What a stuck up prick. This just shows Avenged Sevenfold has become image whores.

Isn't that the one with Lamb of God and Slayer, and some other bands that I'll be embarassed to have forgotten? Or am I really mistaken.

Trust me, they probably will...for the money and shit.

They need a legendary band on there like they've done with Maiden, and Priest.

    And that Slayer tour...OMFG!!!

That is a horrible line up. :(

The only band I would like to see is Strapping Young Lad... looks like I won't be going to Ozzfest this year.

Okay, Jack Osbourne needs to seriously stop being in charge of Ozzfest.

This is three years in a row where I've liked none of the other performers except Ozzy (although Disturbed is enjoyable). These lineups are terrible!

I thought 2004, for the most part, was killer.

Sabbath, Slayer, Dimmu Borgir, Slipknot, Lamb Of God, OTEP, Throwdown, Darkest Hour...

2001 was by the far the worst line-up I've seen.

geeze, I thought I was the only SYL fan here too. :p

@that slayer tour....HOLY FUCK. CoB, TeB, Slayer and LoG? they'd better come here....

hell, I'd go just for CoB.

Just like I'd go to this year's ozzfest to see SYL.

Norma Jean might be interesting, but Josh Scogin still owns the new guy.

    All hail The Chariot!

    From theprp.com

If a Main Stage band is signing with Roadrunner, then it has to be Lacuna Coil. All of the other bands are signed to majors.

Gah. I know it's a bit unlikely, but i hope it's ATR from the second stage. And the lineup this year doesn't look all that stunning... Ozzy and ATR are the only people i'd really see off there.. and maybe Disturbed.

It could be the band that hasn't been announced yet, or a band striking a new deal.

I was just saying that, because I know there's a 95% chance that the mystery band is A7X.
