    Remix 'Remember' Contest

    Fort Minor, in association with ccMixter, is hosting a contest for aspiring DJs and musicians to win a Technics SL-1200MK5 turntable, courtesy of Warner Bros. Records and Machine Shop Recordings. To enter, produce a remix of Fort Minor's "Remember the Name" (tracks provided) and upload it to ccMixter between March 22, 2006 and May 6, 2006. Mike Shinoda will choose the winning remix.

    A contest where fans are asked to submit their own remixes of "Remember The Name" using audio sources straight from the studio has just opened at the Creative Commons Mixster website. The contest is officially endorsed by Fort Minor and Warner Bros/Machine Shop. Partakers are asked to submit their entries between March 22nd to May 6th.

    is it just me or is there two threads like this one? :lol:

    some of the beats that have been broken down are kinda simplistic - but in a way thats a good thing.... cant wait to hear what somew people come out with

    sorry, its just that fort minor rocks, i can remix stuff, turntables involved...its like sex for me......minus the dirty feeling left over

    This is awesome!!!

    Not much of a remixer (but did tell friend who might be able to do something more useful than me with these)

    But I love sitting here listening to string-05.wav on repeat :) Very very nice.
