I have two files. One is a .mdf file and the other is a .mds file. I loaded one of them and installed the game fine. Then, I trid playing it. It said to insert the disk so I tried loading the other file and it didn't work. There are no other files to load so I'm stuck. How can I play it?

Whatever game it was, the images don't register as valid cds.

Get a nocd/nodvd crack for the game.

Sadly, I think the game is too new for that. It's the new expansion pack to The Sims 2.

It's called Sims 2: Open For Business.

This is pissing me off. I uninstalled the OFB expansion pack and now I can't play it at all. I tried reinstalling all the games over again too and it still doesn't work. I can get the menu to show up like it's going to play and it just stops there and doesn't launch.

You downloaded the mini image from the link I gave you and mounted THAT instead of the one you installed with?

Oh, if you're using Alcohol 120% to mount, get Daemon Tools. That might fix it.

Yeah, I mounted that using Daemon Tools and it still asked for the disk.

I agree. You do know that what you guys are doing, even if she bought the game is illegal right?

    Everything's illegal.

I'm neither defending nor against it. But I believe telling them its illegal isn't answering their question.

Well helping would be condoning it, also could lead to legal issues for the site if there are post of how to do it.

I'm just assuming that she imaged the disk and broke it. No more no less.

(I have never paid for software in my life. I bought Day Of Defeat Source.. that's it.)

He has a point though Nate. This is no better than posting RIAA owned albums on this website.

This thread is closed. I better not hear any mention of pirating or warez here again either.
