With all the sectarian violence in Iraq, and with the bombing of the Shi'ite Golden Mosque and reprisal attacks, do you think Iraq will erupt into civil war?

Question change: If Bush sticks to his plan of 'stay the course', will Iraq erupt into a full-fledged civil war?

Yes. Bush is to blame for all of that country's problems.
That wasn't sarcasm, I'm actually serious. He's a major contributer to their lastest problems and deaths.

    Stephen Colbert talked about this.

    It's a good thing.

If they have a civil war, then by definition, they are fighting THEMSELVES and we can't get involved.

    Can anyone say Exit Strategy?

not really, i mean its gonna be people fighting people, and those are gonna be people that want to fight...when it was saddam it was people forced to fight figting agaist innocent people...(although i guess there will be suicide bombings)...o i dunno..i think everyone needs to leave, let them fight, have devastation, and then let them get back on their own feet.

I really have no idea, because you can't say what would happen if we had a different president at this time, but we dont. I personally like Bush, but I don't think there is any short and easy way to get through all of these problems in the middle East. I mean, yes, you can blame Bush for most of this, but if you were in his position, you wouldn't know really what would be the best way to do everything, because no one is perfect at predicting the outcome of everything. But I'm only 15, so what do I know, lol.

But for them starting a civil war, I sort of hope they do, because that gives us an oppertunity to leave, but it may just go back to the way it was before. But we have so much sercurity in and around the United States now that it would be alot more difficult for an attack on the states to take place.

No. There will always be fighting there, but I don't see a Civil War happening within the next 3 years or so.

This is what a million people and myself been saying would happen for the last couple years when we didn't leave after we got rid of Saddam...but did the Republicans listen? Nope.
