Can anyone recommend me some books. I'm looking for books that relate to the thriller, suspense, crime & maybe action genre. I'd like the books to be intelligent & make me think. I'm open to anything really, as long as they're interesting. Thanks in advance.

Oh my, the series Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn by Tad William is AMAZING!
It's not any of the genres you mentioned...but it is damned exciting. It's like of like fantasy, but it really pulls you in. It's like a historical fiction...but for like a different world.

It's just great. some of the best books I've ever read in my life. and since there is about 4000pgs out of all of the books you can be reading for a long time.

Intensity by Dean Koontz. If you ever heard the movie "High Tension", it's basically a novelized version of that.
The Shining by Stephen King. Read above. Probably the best book I have ever read. Intense, scary, and just downright insane.
Have A Nice Day and Foley is Good by Mick Foley. I'm sure you read these books. But if you haven't...they are both autobiographical books from Mick Foley (wrestling legend for people not really into the "sport")

The Dilbert Principle. It's intelligent, anyway.

Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code, despite its historical inaccuracies (or accuracies, depending on which side of the fence you're on), is a fantastic book. Once you start reading it, you're not going to want to stop. It's fast-paced, action-packed and really makes you think about religion and the way it's perceived today.

You want thriller? Look no further than the king of thriller, Robert Ludlum.

He wrote The Bourne Identity, Supremacy, and Ultimatum. The books are nothing like the movies, they're actually 10x better. And those movies kick ass. Any of those are great choices (best to read them in order).

Another one of Ludlum's best that's my favorite is The Prometheus Deception. An agent with The Directorate thinks he's helping his country's national security when in fact he's stripping away from it. He learns about it, switches sides, and vows to take down an almighty corporation called Prometheus whose modus operandi is complete surveillance (and thus control) on all citizens of the world. It's an amazing book that you can't put down.

Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card.
Angels and Demons by Dan Brown.
    1984 by George Orwell.
Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury.
The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood.
The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman.
The House of the Scorpion by Nancy Farmer. (Sure, it's a young adult novel, but it's awesome.)
The Great Train Robbery by Michael Crichton.
