Anyways, for any of you who haven't turned on a late night talk show in the last week to see all the mockery, Dick Cheney went to Texas for a Quail hunting expedition and ended up mistaking a 78-year old Republican Lawyer he was on the trip with for a bird. He shot the man in the face with a shotgun and caused severe damage to his face and shoulder. Luckily he survived and is in stable condition, so we can joke about it. I've been glued to late night television ever since I heard about it, because everyone's making Cheney out to be a raving murderer. Nothing has been this ripe for parody since the Clinton sex scandal. Everyone was scared of him before this, so now it's just fuel to the fire. He claims he shot from around 90 feet away, but ballistics testing and re-enacting proved he shot from 15 feet away. Fucking idiot.
