I was debating on if I should make a thread about him or not, but Im doing it anyways. I can't get enough of Matisyahu to be honest. When I first heard King Without A Crown, I was hooked; although most of his songs are religious (Jewish) in context which I am not...I still am hooked. His new album 'Youth' comes out March 7th and along with Linkin Park and Snow White Tan (Even though its due out in 2007 now apparently) its one of the few albums of 2006 Im looking forward to listen to. There really isn't one song I do not like from him yet. What does everyone think about him?

Isn't he on a few P.O.D songs from 'Testify'?

I don't like him, he just doesn't fit my style. I DO, however, like him on Roots In Stereo on P.O.D.'s "Testify". other then that, he will find his own audience i'm sure.

His music's catchy, that's for sure.

I can tolerate the religious meanings because I am Jewish (well, atheist, but thats what I was raised as) so it's not as bad as someone preaching jesus

I thought he was on Strength of My Life too. That song is pretty grooving.

He is. He's on both tracks.

I bought Live at Stubb's and I have to admit he is one of the best performers I've heard in awhile. He's really good at what he does and I love the music.

I need to find the entire album somewhere.

His first album 'Shake off the Dust ARISE' is pretty much the studio verson of 'Live at Stubbs', his band is real talented too. For a few samples of the new album check out http://www.matismusic.com/
