Chevelle have lined up their brother-in-law Dean Bernardini as the permanent replacement for bassist Joe Loeffler, who was fired from the group last year. A new album is currently in the works from the band.
So much for the whole brother thing. 'Looking forward to hearing his sound. Hopefully he'll be somewhat impressive.
They didn't fire him I dont think. If my memory isnt wrong I believe the old bassist just didn't like the limelight and decided to quit the band. He wanted to lead a normal life with his family.
That's not what he said at all. I'll find links. Alright, still seems weird to me. I read the story on the Roadrunner Records page. Still doesn't explain why the hell he was fired. He must have did something terribly wrong for his brothers to fire him. It's messed up though... his brothers fireing him and all. Doesn't really sound right..... who knows... he probably did quit and he's making up stories. Well, regardless, can't wait for their new album. It seems their whole family must be musicians... lol.
ThePRP never cite their sources. Wook can say he's got "inside sources" all he wants... he steals rumors from other sites who haven't confirmed them, and he sometimes just messes up entirely. Take everything you read there with a grain of salt.
Sweet, new Chevelle album... I ogtta say though I hope its like their last one more then their first (second wasnt bad either). But I have all 3 and imo the first one sucks.
I do for the most part. I usually try to find other sites with the same or similar news when I read something on the PRP that really catches my eye (like tour dates).
