Agh...the new album just seems closer and closer everyday! I am really hoping the mixtape song comes out soon that we were promised.
I'm thinking more along the lines of maybe an announcement about Mike's remix of that U2 song he did coming out on something. I just don't think an album release date would be thrown out when they haven't even given any real news or updates from the studio outside of "we're working on the album, it'll be out this year."
i doubt it'll be a release date or album title. it may be something to do w/ the new holly brook/fort minor "where'd you go" video release or something like that? nobody has mentioned that yet, so i just thought i'd open it up to more speculation although it'd be nice to have a release date, even tentative, i doubt it'll be until this summer or so. like june/july i'd guess at the earliest. you know how it goes
Well for all we know it could just be something Mike or somebody briefly mentions as a side comment during an interview or something. I think if it was something really big, it'd be hyped up a little more than Mike just saying, "We've got a small bit of news that I think you're gonna like."
I don't think he would've mentioned that if it wasn't something about the new album. It's like when someone says "I've got a little surprise for you", they don't actually mean it's a minor surprise, it's usually said that way to invoke mystique. The hype is in the casualness of it.

"We've got a small bit of news that I think you're gonna like." First off, he said ''we('ve)'', which implies the band. Next he said ''...I think your gonna like.'' Now most fans are looking for a release date... If not that, an idea of when its gonna come out. When he say's ''small bit'' in all reality he is telling the truth, and release date and/or album name IS a small bit a news, however grand you may think it is.
I think he'll just regurgitate what was already told to us by Rob. I mean think about it: when have they ever premiered album info like this without telling the fans first? Who knows, but I wouldn't get ansy over it. I doubt it will really be anything substantial. Mike is known for being vague. Just read any of his interviews.
But they still have 2 weeks to tell the fans about the album ... I really hope it's gonna be about the new album or something totally new something nobody has heard about it's possible cause we found out about FM "close" to the release 2 Let Mike be vague i like it :d not knowing everything yet cause is i now about something i have to wait another year it drives me insane
I think I'd shit myself if come to find out, LP has been DONE with the record for a long time and he told us it'd be out within 2-3 months. oh god, that'd be sweet... and even with his Fort Minor duties, it could happen, because the other 5 could have tracked all their stuff, then Mike comes in and drops his stuff and does a little producing...... OR he could have been there the whole time oh well, wishful thinking
