if only the same ppl who buy tickets to go to his shows bought his albums...i feel bad for mike cuz his album sales weren;t great. hes probbaly not going to make a follow-up of this album. thats too bad
Your prediction surprises me. But then again, I can see your reasoning. Mike didn't do as well in sales because pre-release album promotion wasn't the best. All of his promotion was based on internet more or less. The Linkin Park website (and fansites such as the LPA), the MySpace, and more importantly, the mixtape. But obviously, who other than Linkin Park fans are going to download his mixtape? Mike was probably depending on his celebrity status from Linkin Park to get attention for his album. Not to mention, he might have been expecting some attention to come through Jay-Z's fanbase. But, as I said before, the majority of the album buyers are obviously Linkin Park fans. Mike will definitely get more attention for a Fort Minor sophomore release because more and more people are hearing of Fort Minor, and considering all the TV shows Fort Minor has performed on and the internet fanbase Mike has drawn through We Major and The Rising Tied. If Mike does a sophomore release, it won't be for a while. It might be 2-3 years before he begins to work on album material for Fort Minor. But if he doesn't, I wouldn't be surprised, even though it would be kind of a shame. I think it's too early to decide whether Mike will come out with another FM album or not. It's only been 2 months since the release of The Rising Tied. Mike still has a tour to do and a Linkin Park album to finish. It's too early to assume anything at this point.
i just wish i could go to a Fort Minor concert the only way i could ever go is if a friend took me but theres a very slim chance of that oh well il just stick to listening to the CD
