Does anyone know of any free, non-free trial video converters for the video ipod? The ones I keep downloading are either free trials or it gives me a limit of how much video i can convert. Thanks!
...there's a search button. Use it. Why am I telling you to use it? I answered this exact same question about a week ago. Mmm, guess what? It's not even halfway down the first page of this forum.
well, i'm sorry that you have to give me a bad attitude about it. besides, it's not like i'm going to click every topic just to find out about your topic being the same and besides, videora was only a trial for me. it cut of off after awhile.
That's why a search feature was added. So you don't have to click on ever single link in this forum.. click on search > advanced search > "ipod converter" as the term > "tech talk" as the forum > [search now] > 4th result. Tell me, how hard is it to search for something? That has to be one of my biggest pet peeves. Especially when it's on the first page as well.
well...he wouldn't have found it on the first page because I had titled it "Name That Program," but your...um...peeviness (hehe) can still be justified with the search system.
eh? i dont think it does.. coz thats why apple wants people to buy Quicktime Pro because of its "convert for ipod" option.. if itunes can do it itself then it leaves Qpro redundant
Right-click a video in iTunes, and select 'Convert to iPod'. I tried it; the video works on the iPod but there's no sound when played on both iTunes and the iPod.
well it probably usually works for people. If you are having trouble with the new version of iTunes, then use the videora program described above. Like I said, it works like a dream. You can even use it to convert DVDs (if you have a program to put the dvd mpegs on your computer) I don't know if I should get the new version of iTunes. There have been speculations that it uploads information to Apple that posts your music collection and possibly other information.
yea the conversion tool kinda sucks cause i got no sound on my video too. go with videora for best results
I just tried it yesterday and I got no sound from the iTunes conversion either. Oh well. Videora is still the best.
