Faint: Next LP Video

    They skipped "04. Lying From You". I totally cannot believe that. Just because most bands skip around doesn't mean they have too. Lying From You is a very, very well written and played song. Theres no doubt Faint is awesome too, but skipping a song means, the song will never have a video. Just as they skipped "Pushing Me Away" from their 1st album. They should make the most out of the album.

    Very disappointed fan.

    What in hell's name are you babbling about? They skipped a song? Uhh, I think I speak for everyone when I say WTF?

    I don't remember seeing "With You" as a single or "Don't Stay," so if you want to talk about album order, that's completely irrelevant to the determination of a single selection.

    By the way, welcome to the LPA boards. ;)

    First of all, you've posted in the wrong forum. The "Feedback" forum is not for LP feedback. It should've been in the "Meteora" Forum.

    Second of all, you say that they should've released "Lying from you" as their next single because it comes right after "Somewhere I belong" and they should'nt skip songs? Then in that case they should've released "Don't stay" before "SIB". :chemist:

    It's does'nt go that way, Buzby.

    Its LPs decision what they release as singles. They dont have to do it the order the cd is either.

    Lol.. You don't have to release songs from an album "in order" thats crazy talk :wth:

    I for one am glad they released Faint.. It had to be released sometime, it's a great track ^_^ and it's kinda "single-ish" in my opinion..

    this amused me...if you released every song as a single, then there would be a huge amount of singles...and you don't release them in order as they are on the album, LP decides what singles go out...*cracks up over ignorant people*

    This is the stupidest thing i've ever seen. You actually think bands release a video for every single song on the album? And in the exact order on the album?

    No, thats not how it works. They just pick a good order for the songs and put them on the album then later choose which songs they'd like as singles.(in SIB's case, LP had other people choose it).
