For those who don't know who Obie Trice is, he's a very underrated rapper who's signed to Eminem's record label, Shady Records.

How many times will we have to hear him brag about this on his next CD?

Meh, I hate it, but each to their own. I just hate how some rappers think they are cool when they are shot.

I'm sorry, but what is your point? I'm not saying he did it on purpose, just that he'll use it to his advantage.

 

His point is that you need to show some compassion and stop being a heartless jerk. I mean, I despise everything that Bert McCracken stands for in music, but if the man was near death or injured really bad, I wouldn't go around saying "Oh, that's good, I don't care. I didn't like his music anyway. Maybe he'll stop being 'emo'".

 

In the head? He not only survived, but continued driving? Kudos to him.

I'd brag about that. But I'm thinking that if he bragged a lot about it, he'd probably get shot by someone else.

 

Hey, I'm not happy he was shot. All I am saying is I am going to dislike the result. The only way this effects me is the minor discomfort of this poor music. This doesn't mean I want his dead, but I have no reason to want him alive.

 

If you're going to let something as stupid as this affect you're life then you lead a pretty sad life if I do say so myself.

And Esaul, is it really that difficult for you to put aside your music preferences for one second to either shut up or give your condolences. I mean really, a Guy was shot in the head and all you can say is "How many times will we have to hear him brag about this on his next CD?" How fucking disrespectful.

Is this thought to be something rap-related, or just a random shooting, or a gang/drug thing? I don't know too much about Trice's lifestyle.

 

First, everything that happens to you effects you, although usually minutely. I merely said the ONLY effect what so ever would be slight discomfort. You make it act as if I was devestated. Second, I never disrespected his musical taste. I said I disagreed with it and even gave Obie the credit of being popular and doing something right. All I was saying is I could really care less about the guy. Sure, I don't want him dead, I would never wish that upon anyone based on the music they make (unless it purposely led to hate crimes or w/e, but that is irrelevant). I am just not looking forward to him bragging about being shot. You are disrespecting my musical tastes if you warn me for saying I dislike gangsta rap.

The "shot in the head" must not have been that bad since he was released from the hospital so quicky. What he has to worry about is who the hell was trying to kill him. So did the shooter get arrested or what?
