All lies. They probably got that impression by the way it was edited in pre-production.

the only thing that i noticed was Joe's scratching wasnt matched with the video, but its hard to catch, but in other words, the concert was recorded live, and none of it is fake.

The only reason Brad's guitar changes mid-song, Chester's sweat stains on his shirt are there one second and gone the next, and a few things don't line up, is because the video footage is spliced from the 2 shows over the audio. So yeah, some things don't look right, but none of it is "fake."

Yeah. If you pay attention at the beginning of "Lying From You" Brad's not even on his guitar when the chords come in. They should've spent a couple more weeks making the video and audio sync up a little better. Because then we wouldn't have crazy people claiming they're guitar-syncing when they're so clearly not.

To be perfectly honest... I don't think they should have done all this editing.

I think they should have just left it and made it a more natural live sound instead of pissing about with audio and visual for a reason I still don't understand...

How could you not tell that they were not lip-syncing / guitar-syncing? It doesn't sound as well recorded as a studio recording. Your friends, they might need some hearing aid.
