IMO, to ME, every song by each of these bands is just AWESOME! but close to Trivium, here are some songs that I think you will like, and awaaaaay we go:

    In Flames:
Dead End (from their new cd coming out in 2006, so u MIGHT not be able to find it, unless you download their new CD, it's on most torrents)
Take This Life (again, see above note)
and anything from Reroute To Remain and Soundtrack To Your Escape CDs, others don't like it, but I think it will suite your fancy

    Arch Enemy:
    We Will Rise
    Enemy Within
and really, anything from their newest CD "Doomsday Machine"
Taking Back My Soul is my favorite off that CD

    The Hurt Process:
    Anchor
    A Heartbeat Behind
you can preview music on http://www.myspace.com/thehurtprocess

    Soilwork:
    Bringer Of The Damned
    Follow The Hollow
    Soilworker's Song Of The Damned
    The Flameout
anything really, from their CD "Natural Born Chaos" and their new CD "Stabbing The Drama", which include my favorites-
    Nerve
    Stalemate
    Distance

    KillSwitch Engage:
anything from "Alive Or Just Breathing" or "The End Of Heartache", but my favorites include:
    The End Of Heartache
    Life To Lifeless
    My Last Serenade

    Stutterfly
their whole CD "And We Are Bled Of Color" is good, but I really like:
    Flames Adorn The Silence
    Bury Me (The Scarlet Path)

    God Forbid:
their cd "IV: Constitution Of Treason" is awesome

    As I Lay Dying:
    Confined
    Through Struggle
their cd is called "Shadows Are Security"

    Bullet For My Valentine:
great cd "The Poison" favorite songs are:
    The End
    4 Words (To Choke Upon)
All These Things I Hate (Revolve Around Me)

    It Dies Today:
their CD is called "The Caitiff Choir", i like:
    A Threnody For Modern Romance

again, these are my opinions, so you may think otherwise, but check em out and give me a try, even if they don't hit you at first, they will, several of em were like that for me. Hope this helps :D

You can only scream about relationships so much though. Instrumentals are good, but that's about it. I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole, personally.

An easy way to find similar artists is to use pandora.com.

What they do is ask you for an artist that you listen to (you can input more than one) and based on the attributes of that artist, find others who are similar.

    Children of Bodom
    Killswitch Engage
    Shadows Fall
    Metallica
    Megadeth
    As I Lay Dying
    Lamb of God

You may have trouble headbanging to Lamb of God, though. They have crazy time signatures and stuff like that. Just thought I'd let you know.
