Bumping threads is necroposting. When you post in an old one, it brings it up on the first page. It's just as bad cause it's the same thing.
1) If you bump and old topic, that is necroposting. Don't do it. 2) You may not bump a newer topic. If people have something to contribute to the thread, they will do so on their own, not because you say "bump." Don't do it. 3) A bump is pointless and we don't appreciate pointless posts. Try to contribute and not give us a headache. Don't do it. Bottom line: Don't do it.
I normally don't hand out warnings the first time someone bumps an old thread. We all make mistakes. But due to the fact that you bumped an old thread discussing how you should not necropost and consequences if you do, and even said "Okie Dokie", which to me, means you understand you shouldn't bump threads, you're warned.
