There is always a song for whatever mood I'm in, so it helps me vent when I'm angry or depressed. Plus ( this one was said) They do have a LOT of true quotes in the lyrics!

Linkin Park filled the void after I became deobsessed with anime. It gave me something else to obsess about. ^_^ They are an awesome band and I hope to be obsessed for a long time! :chaz: :brad:

LP broadened the music horizon for me.. When I was younger I hated Rock music.. I thought it was just noise.. LP gave me a better view and definition on Rock music.. They also made me discover that there are a lot of great rock bands (but not that popular) but deserves to be listened to..

I also learned that music would be great if you do not just stick to one genre.. it's good to combine different genres such as hip hop, rap and rock

But sadly, there are some rock bands who think that rock music is simply grabbing the mic and screaming which makes their music very bland.. well.. i can't name some since i am very sure that these bands didn't/ will not get that far

Ressurecting old topics is bad. Don't do it again.

Well, just look at LP.... they are not mainstream, but their fan base spreads far, wide and deep, and all this was thru their passion and talent and etc etc.. :D

I've never been much of conventional person myself, and it took me a while to see that even though I'll never be the 'cool' kind, I'm cool in my own way. when i realised that (with lp's help!! heheh) B) I managed to make more freinds that accept me for me (also I'm a little dyslexic... but not to the point that i have to go to a special school...), and tho i faced social exile for a while cos I had very eclectic tastes and stuff, now i have a close and relatively big circle of friends

i'm my own person and make up my own mind... my brain works how it works... it's all good! :D

I like to call Lp my 'Advocates of Faith', cos there are a whole lot of bigger problems etc etc that make my life complaints all this while seem so trivial, there's bigger and better things to do and more ppl to help! :)

Not all the bands on "mainstream" labels are mainstream.

Trapt is on Warner, yet they're not that mainstream.
