Meteora is just the best one they have so far. I think it is lyrically better then any Linkin Park album yet.
That is the first time i've ever heard anyone say that Meteora's lyrics are better than Hybrid Theory's. Personally, I think Hybrid Theory's absolutly crushes Meteora's lyrics. I felt that Chester and Mike used the word 'pain' a lot, instead of describing it more like they did in Hybrid Theory.

Meteora because of the lyrics and the better instruments, primarily the guitars. The lyrics in meteora are more diverse as seen in Breaking The Habit and SIB. Those songs are more personal rather than interactive tracks.
The lyrics are more diverse? Give me a break. Don't get me wrong, I love Linkin Park and they're my favorite band, but almost every song on Meteora is about the same thing. They didn't say the word "pain" once on Hybrid Theory and they said it like 12 times on Meteora. Diverse? Look up "diverse" in the dictionary. However, I will agree that the guitars are much better.

While they may have gone deeper into their emotions they didn't do it good enough. Mike and Chester are great lyricists, they shouldn't even use the word "pain" at all. They used so many metaphors on Hybrid Theory that resembled the word "pain" but they never actually said it. That is great songwriting. That is why Hybrid Theory, at this point, is the better album.
Well, I feel that Meteora went deeper lyrically. I dont care if they say the word "pain" over and over. It's just that they chose what's best for the fans. Because they know that we are going through a lot of pain, so it looks like they tried to make Meteora as the album that relates to pain to help their fan realize their pain or help defeat their pain. That's my opinion, so dont take my word for it.
I think you said "pain" more in that one post than I've heard in my entire life.[/b][/quote] It's just 5 times. And? ... ... I don't think it matters how many times you use a word on a post. As long as you stay on topic and try to explain your point. And it's not funny, Neo! j/k.
In Hybrid Theory they did the same thing without saying the word 'pain'. With Hybrid Theory they went even deeper than the pain, and lyricly explained what 'pain' is. That is what makes Hybrid Theory the better album, lyrically.
well, i was introduced 2 LP's amazing music not 2 long ago. the first LP album i listened to was meteora. i loved it @ first, but then i kinda got tired of it. then i downloaded HT, & i have been listening 2 it everyday, ever since. its DEFINITELY the best album (so far).
I think that you should buy it and add it to your collection. HT is a must buy. But for me Meteora is a must buy album....
