Yeah. So I caved and downloaded Frances the Mute but the tracks weren't labeled. So Casey should post the complete tracklisting here for me.
Cygnus...Vismund Cygnus The Widow L'Via L'Viaquez Miranda, That Ghost Just Isn't Holy Anymore Cassandra Geminni I Cassandra Geminni II Cassandra Geminni III Cassandra Geminni IV Cassandra Geminni V Cassandra Geminni VI Cassandra Geminni VII Cassandra Geminni VIII
Speaking of tracklists, I could use the correct tracklisting for Scabdates. Can't get the internet in the dorms here.
Abrasions Mount The Timpani Take The Veil Cerpin Taxt Gust Of Mutts ...And Ghosted Pouts Caviglia Concertina Haruspex Cicatriz Pt I Pt II Pt III Pt IV
What are all the individual parts? I'm making a copy for my friend and he wants all the separate movements labeled too, the bastard.
The movements are just for show, they don't have a play in the record at all. If they weren't listed on the back of the album, you wouldn't know they existed. Here they are, nevertheless: Cygnus...Vismund Cygnus: A. Sarcophagi B. Umbilical Syllables C. Facilis Descenus Averni D. Con Safo Miranda, That Ghost Just Isn't Holy Anymore: A. Vade Mesum B. Pour Another Icepick C. Pisacis (Phra-Men-Ma) D. Con Safo Cassandra Geminni: A. Tarantism B. Plant A Nail In The Navel Stream C. Faminepulse D. Multiple Spouse Wounds E. Sarcophagi
I'm so confused. I don't know which tracks to label what. I don't mean to be so picky but could you put the track number in front of all of them? I have 12 MP3s but I have no idea what to label any of them.
The first tracklisting I gave you is what you should use. The tracklisting with the movements is just to confuse people and make you think.
Yeah, its kinda wierd the movements of the song and the tracklistings are separate, but if the label didn't force them to split it up Cassandra would've been one track like on the leaked version. I guess for those who want to listen to later parts of the song its beneficial but it creates a lot of confusion! Do people think that Casey is the only one here thats a TMV fanatic? Well, maybe I'm not the quickest source of TMV info since I'm on here a whenever I have time which isn't very much!
I probably pimp TMV more than you do these days. But I have to give credit where credit is due, Odaton got me into them.
8) Hear hear, Casey. Through my constant nagging I've gotten people into bands they never would have heard of...for good or bad LOL your post makes me remember how long I've been visiting these boards! Almost three years now and still some of the same core people! I'd have to say that I haven't kept up with the post count, though... Btw, any more news on TMV in the studio? Rumours have been flying around that they are currently recording for a new release and that John Frusciante is a permanent member of the band this time around.
John might as well be part of the band, a few songs on Scabdates are said to be about his life. I expect a new album near the fall of next year. EDIT: I had heard of TMV before you, Odaton, it's just that Cedric's voice freaked me out at first. Then I gave them another try because of you and your high praises. I'm glad I did.
How do you know exactly when I first heard TMV, Casey? But yeah I remember making a thread about it and you were saying how you thought Cedric's voice was scary, hehe. To answer my question though I got De-Loused two months after its release date, August 2003 I believe. And I read about them in a review in June/July just after it came out. I was reading posts on the Comatorium board and this could be just bullshit but some people were saying that the TMV album could be out February 2006...which sounds way too soon but apparently Omar has a mobile studio (he references to it quickly in the scabdates liners) and in interviews he says he wants to put out something every year....so let us hope that these rumours aren't false.
The songs they usually play are Cassandra, L'Via, Cygnus, Take The Veil, Cicatriz, The Widow, Roulette Dares, Concertina, and random jam sessions. Expect the jam sessions to come in Take The Veil, L'Via and Cicatriz, if not more There won't be any moshing. Alot of dancing, and smoke probably. If you fuck up, or the crowd does, Cedric will probably call you/the crowd on it.
Sweet, glad to see they play most of Frances seeing thats my prefered album. What do you mean by Cedric will call you/ the crowd on it though?
He's ranted at the crowd before when the guys started to mosh. He prefers dancing to moshing. And he's also ranted when people throw shit on the stage.
