I've absolutely scoured the internet for information on a version of One Step Closer I heard about 3 or 4 years ago one day in the gym and have found zero information about it.

First off: Yes, I am 100% it was a cover of the original LP single. Yes, I'm 100% sure it had to have been liscensed by LP for HER (yes it was a female vocalist) to play over a radio station.

The song I heard was a beautiful acoutsic / piano version of "OSC" with a fantastic female vocalist singing the lyrics. It was much slower than the original, commercialized version and was very melodic. I asked one of the guys who worked at the gym I was at if he knew who sang the cover and he said he wasn't sure. At the time he gave me a name (Kelly Something-or-another) and told me that she was actually a country music singer who happened to cover the LP song.

I only have heard this incredible cover one time and have yet to hear it again. As an LP fan and a fan of great music I am begging anyone who knows where to find this cover or who it was done by to PLEASE reply to this thread alone, PM me or send me an email. I have faith that at least someone knows the cover I'm referring to.

    Thanks! -7:peace:

    The singer is Deena Noroian.

I almost NEVER see the track labelled correctly.
