(Sorry, couldn't resist the pun in the title). It's hard to post this as Coldplay are in my top 3 bands, and I always thought they were great friends, but it seems like the constant touring is starting to take its toll on them. Lets hope these guys can get over what's bothering them and push on as a band. Too many bands split over immature egotistical garbage, and I just hope the guys can get past this and realize what it's really all about.
Reading into it, it seems like they aren't going to break up..they're just a little stressed from touring. Leave it to the media to exagerrate shit.
Pure exaggeration. Coldplay is known to say things that aren't serious. For example, four months into the release of X&Y, Chris Martin said that they were already working on a new album which they planned to release in early 2006, and he said that it would be faster, darker, and heavier with no piano in it. Needless to say, no word about this "new album" has been heard since. He also said before that that they want become the "hottest band in the world" and "bigger than U2." Oh, and I'm not even gonna mention all the dumb jokes Chris cracked about working with artists that sound nothing like them to change their style. With all the queer things he says to the media, I'm not surprised the band is getting a bit frustrated.
