Alot of people upgrade. My brother went from the original GBA to the SP, and now the Micro has a much brighter screen as well as the SP (There is a signifigant difference). Plus it's a limited edition deal.
A while back there was a company selling the backlight kit with the option to send your console for them to install it themselves, and it was endorsed by Cube magazine.
I've never heard of it. Though that may have been why Nintendo decided to upgrade the screen on the SP. The Micro was still the original GB to have the brighter screen.
The new SP has the backlight I believe. When they released the Micro, they announced they'd upgraded the SP screen as well.
The GB Micro has a better screen then the old SP ofcourse, but the new versions of the GBA SP also have an anhanced screen (unannounced, just put in stores) The built in front light was called afterburner and pretty much sucked, it built in 2 small lights just behind the screen. The Screen from the SP (wich came after that) also featured front lights, but a bit better (while still not doing the screen justice.) The DS has backlit screen, wich is way better (escpecially the colors come out better) The same (and better) technology is used in the GB micro and the new GBA SP after that.
Well can you use Internet on the Ds or be able to download music files or picture files and be able to have it as a backround pic well i dont think so PSP is the bomb. Music, videos, pictures, internet, and Games who wouldnt want that well maybe the young kids still dont know what that all means but when they find out, they are more likely to choose the PSP.
Sure the PSP is a cool machine, but I dont need another MP3 or DVD player. I already have several of those. This doesn't have anything to do with the Micro though. I still hink it is a waste.
The iPod nano is small, but you don't complain about that. Look, Nintendo completely burns Sony in terms of software and innovation. And to those who down the DS because it has no Internet or movie/music fnctions, they're opening the thing up. They now have Wi-Fi, and Reggie or Nintendo of America wishes to see a browser on the DS some day. read the press conferences.
