I don't know, nor care really so long as they continue to make songs in the Vol.3 vein, rather than the rubbish on the S/T and Iowa.

I think they'll keep them, it's what sets them apart...

 

S/T wasn't rubbish. but Iowa was.

 

That was actually Aaron that uses that lyric. My moaning is much longer and drawn out.

In their recent videos Slipknot have been showing more and more of their faces but without actually showing them. In the Vermillion video they word plastic molded masks of their faces over their Slipknot masks and in the Before I Forget video the whole video is the band without masks with camera shots that only show parts of their faces.

 

Iowa is their best album. It's just that people didn't expect an album with blastbeats from Slipknot, and still don't

I personally don't care about their appearence or anything. As long as their albums are quality (all three are up to date), i'll bow down to them.

they sold out on vol.3

 

I don't think they did sell out on Vol.3. They changed producers sure,and had more melody and guitar solos, but I think it was for the better, not just selling out.
With Vol.3 they keep the original basic design (similar vocals,drumming,samples) but the whole thing is more mature. They didn't sell out, if they hadn't advanced their sound slightly it would've gotten old quickly...
