I listened to Lentus, and it wasn't too bad.

Then the vocals kicked in.

By vocals, I mean "something which sounded as if a gorilla was trying to desperately get ticks off of it's primate body in a rhythmic jungle fashion."

But I guess that's what metalcore is all about! So well done.

 

You got the look down.

Pass The Flask is in my opinion one of the best hardcore albums released. Found In Flood...Is another story.

You obviously have not heard Pass The Flask.

 

Yeah, that's why I have "Pass The Flask", "Found In The Flood" and their track from the new Tony Hawk game on my harddrive, huh.

Lentus is good. It sounds like old Alexisonfire. And that second song sounds a LOT like the Black Dahlia Murder.

As for that first one? Ugh.

Well, it was the combination of the vocal styles that made me think of BDM.

I don't even know what hardcore is and what bands would fit into that genre. I just know that The Bled suck, and they suck hard.

That was slightly hypocritical, seeing as how you've been yelling at people about hardcore (a genre), talking about how bands blend indie (a genre) and metal (a genre), and the title of your thread is "My Metalcore (a genre) Band".
