According to the 'decodable message' on the back of the Official FM Streeteam CD Sampler, Ghostface, Lupe Fiasco, Big Daddy Kane, Celph Titled and Apathy will be among a few of the featured artists to make a guest appearance on the upcoming Fort Minor Mixtape.

Furthermore the message reveals that the mixtape will be arriving later on this month.

"Full length Green Lantern Mixtape featuring Ghostface, Lupe Fiasco, Big Daddy Kane, Celph Titled and Abathy available in October."

i am currently looking at the "official fm st sampler mixtape" right now in my hands, but on the back, there is no mention of the other artists besides Styles Of Beyond..... are they releasing like 2 different mixtapes?

I really don't get why Fort Minor isn't just 2 Cds and these songs go on the second CD or like a Risind Tied 1 & 2 like Guns N' Roses did with Use Your Illusion.

yeah, I was thinking the same thing..... this is pretty cool though.... instead of the normal " 'round 13 tracks" like a linkin park cd..... we're gonna end up getting close to like 37 unless of course they are gonna dupe some of them on the mixtape and the album itself.... either way, we win :D

They're on the mixtape because they're not supposed to go on the CD. They wouldn't flow with the album, good songs or not.. Think of it this way, it would be like making Meteora and putting Dedicated on it, AO.6, It's Going Down, Standing in The Middle and Sold My Soul To Yo Mama, and Rock and Roll on it. Good songs, but they just don't flow.

A mixtape is something to help promote the artists and/or producers on it. Mixtape songs really aren't meant to be from the album.

On the back, on the bottom right corner there is a bunch of random #*&@( type symbols in a very small font.

Going on fortminor.com and looking at the 'key' it decodes into what I typed above :).
