Easier To Run

You know the part where Mike raps in the verses, "If i could change I would, take back every wrong move that I made I would..."? Well, you know he says it once, then repeats, and this time you can hear Chester in the background witha sort of "echoy" voice? Ok, well if you know what I'm talking about then you'll understand. In the second where he says "...and never moving forward so, the'll never be a path". Well, if you listen closly, through out the whole second verse you can hear an "echoy" voice of Chester in the background. But when he says "Path" in his original voice, it sounds like he says "Past" in the echo voice. Right after he says "path" you can hear the echo voice rolling off with "st". Did I confuse you? Well I just thought it was cool. I like how you listen to the album over and over, and you can still get new stuff from it everytime. I like how Linkin Park hides stuff in their songs!

Yes, it's Chester rapping with Mike. He does that a lot on Meteora.

Also, the line is "and never moving forward so there'd never be a past."

In Israel (in which I live) the Meteora CD isn't in the music stores, so I had to download the CD.
For those who DID buy it, check your CD lyrics to see if it says 'Past' or 'Path'...

Order it off the internet.

Buy the actual CD instead of ripping Linkin Park off and maybe you'll realize this.

 

I have noticed something about Easier to Run... It is the worst song off of meteora and the only bad song.

 

F#ck that. "Easier to Run" is not the worst song. If you see them perform this live, it's very moving. I can't believe you said that. <_<

well that may be YOUR opinion, but I like the song. the music is very inventive and original. i guess it depends on the style of music you like though, because i tend to go for softer styles of music more. and how the heck is it a bad song?

 

I love ETR....the drumming in it is amazing and Chester came up with the greatest vocals for it, I love every song on Meteora

 

I understand why people don't like it, but in no way to I agree

Some people don't like the softer stuff. And others don't like how the layout is similar to Crawling (although thats where the similarites end).

 

I never said nor implied that i did not like LP. Just because I like LP does not mean I have to force myself to like every song that they make. I think HT is the best album ever produced, but I still have a right to say that my least favorite song on that album is in the end.
