I remember I took A.P. Government my senior year, got a nice "A" and didn't even bother to take the A.P. test. I'm such a rebel. B)

    o_O

    This thread confused me.

My grades range from a 73% C in Spanish to a 99% A in Programming. My GPA is like 2.9 or something, but it'll be raised. I'm going to stop slacking next year, heh.

Last semester I got an 84% average due to a couple of classes that aren't my strongest :D , usually I'm in the 86-89% range!

My GPA is about a 3.4

My GPA isn't that great, but I usually get above average scores on tests such as the SAT and ACT. But when I took the ACT, I only got a 24 because I was sick and felt like #### that day, I need to retake it

I get good grades, but I suck at taking tests. Plus, I was not prepared because My Chem teacher is horrible. She actually graduated from high school after her sophomore year because she did so well of her AP tests, and she entered Stanford University. But she can't teach a sophomore AP chemistry class.

in my opinion, it's not that high school is the best time of your life. it's a fun age. you're a teenager and you start to find yourself and open your eyes to world (if they're not open already). the times when you're actually in school really sucks.

i've been getting around 3.4's lately. i've only had 1 4.0, which was last year (freshman year). i have that report card framed in my binder somewhere. i'll never get a 4.0 again.

Well, I don't like being a teenager... Something about me, I'm the opposite of everyone else I currently know (well). I'd rather be an adult already with a job because that takes away from my life right now... I think the only reason people tell me, personally, that I should be having fun is because they did and they think everyone's living their life that way. My life in school, or being a teenager in general is not any 'fun'. I stay home every weekend because my 'friends' do not invite me to their outtings and really, I'm a social outcast in school and out of school. Also, I don't really believe in 'finding yourself', not to put you down, but in my view of life... If you're not going to make an impact, then your life pretty much does nothing. So far I've done nothing to make impacts so my life is pretty much meaningless. I'm basically a loner in my life .

wow.... such a negative view :( i understand what you're saying and somewhat agree. i'm trying to just "enjoy my youth" :D, relax, not kill myself over grades. my older friends and cousins are always saying how high school was their best time. i don't see how it can be the most fun if you're still in school. ok...there will be no more from me.

High school kind of sucked for me. Everyone acts the same, it's as if everyone came out of a factory: everyone listens to the same crap, talks the same crap, and acts the same crap. I had good times, but I don't miss it. I found my girlfriend my senior year and she's all I care about. Everyone else can work at McDonalds all their life.

I acted myself and everyone else acted fake. I'm quite mean, and I know many of you probably know that, but that's because that's who I am. I don't have to "find myself" because I know who I am: a jerk who's in love with his girlfriend. I only have like 4 really close friends.

    i'm an average student..

cheer up dude.. there is this thing called "multiple intelligences".. maybe you are better in other areas.. maybe academic is not really you area..

i am going to junior high now.. subjects are getting tougher.. but i'll just go through it even if it is suckingly challenging.. i really want to surpass this now and go to college.. they say that in college there is more freedom.. i hope i'll get more social life there.. my life right now goes to this cycle: wake up- fix myself- go to school- classes end- sometimes go to library- little chat with friends- go home- sleep- wake up- study- sleep again for couple of hours- wake up.. the same cycle.. i am expecting more in college..

Let me sum up college for you:

    1. Go to class when you want.
    2. Lots of free time but you usually have to use it to read and study.
    3. Lots of parties.

well... uh, i really dont know what my gpa or percentage thingie is... we dont do that... just normal "a" "b" "c" or "d" or "f".

on my latest, third, one, i got straight a's except for a b+ in math, which i should have gotten an a+ in, because math's my best subject.

    im in 6th grade, btw.

Isn't it federal law that you must be 13 years of age to use message boards? Well, at least that's how it is in the U.S. Sorry for going off-topic. I'll shutup. :embarassed:
