Looks like another angsty Cubs fan that still hasnt gotten over Steve Bartman boohoo. I'm sorry your team isnt in the playoffs, now why not just chill and tease sox fans for your personal enjoyment AFTER we lose, since your so convinced we're about to? Just making sure you know that I did not start this, and that statement was totally uncalled for.
I'm not pissed that The Cubs didn't make the playoffs. To be honest, I'm pissed that Cleveland didn't win their division.
I guess I could say the same for the Cardinals last year in the World Series. I love how everyone bashes the Cubs even though they are still one of the most marketable teams even when they're 10 games below .500
I saw highlights on SportsCenter for the Braves/Astros game. The play where the Atlanta player didn't hustle on the basepath from 1st to home and got tagged at home plate just disgusts me. If he would have hustled there would have been no need for 18 innings because the Braves most likely would have won after 9 and not get sent home. I'm sure Braves fans went crazy over that.
I'm not saying this as a White Sox fan because I'm not. I couldn't give a shit who wins the ALCS. I'm just sick of everyone bitching about it. They did not cheat. The umpire made a bad call, I hardly see how that's the White Sox's fault. Bad calls happen in baseball to every team at some point. The way you get around that is to score some runs and take a lead so a bad call doesn't effect you. The Angels failed to do that, so they lost.

Well said.
Exactly they didn't cheat, it was totally the umpires fault. I mean Anaheim had the chance to throw the runner out when he stole the base. I mean they were put in a shitty situation and instead of being mad and ovewhelmed by the situation it was their responsibility to overcome the adversity and they didn't oh well. With that said I still hope the Angels come back and pund the shit out of the ChiSox.

Actually they did 'cheat'...if that's the right word. The ump told AJ to run and THEN called him out right after that. If you don't believe me go watch the replay. You could totally see the ump doing the "out" sign. Whatever, nothing going to happen. The game is already over. I'm just saying...if the Angels lose the series because of this, I'll be pretty pissed. Also, for the Cubs haters. Who do you want me to root for? The Sox, Cards, and Astros are The Cubs' rivals.
WHAT NOW WHITE SOX IN THE WORLD F'ING SERIES BABY!!! And paul sorry but you crack me up. Yeah AJ Pierzynski cheated when the umpire was the one making the call. Yeah the lucky breaks saved us, not the four consecutive complete games. No one deserved this world series berth more than the White Sox, there has never been a team so overshadowed and under-appreciated. And especially since we played the Angels, whom I totally respect. Mike Scioscia along with the other Angels are some of the classiest baseball guys I've seen. Beating the Angels, ON THE WEST COAST, proved to me that we could not have been more deserving. This is bliss.
I'm somewhat pissed. I wanted the Angels to win dammit. I mean, I really don't care who wins (simply because the Yanks are gone). If the White Sox win I don't mind, simply because Guillen has done a fucking amazing job managing that team and I know no doubt that he'll get AL Manager of the Year. I'm just pissed because the Angels fucking choked as hard as they did. GO ASTROS!!
You know what? I actually want the Sox to win the World Series. That's just more motavation for the Cubs to win it next year. I gotta admit, I had my doubts. I'm still a diehard Cubs fan, but it's about time Chicago gets some damn reconition (sp?) in baseball. First: Boston Then: White Sox Next year: CUBBIES The only think that pisses me off is that The Sox fans wouldn't root for the Cubs if they were in the WS...but whatever.
