we all know linkin park always close their concerts with one step closer. we do any other bands have piticular closing songs? i know AC/DC always close with "For Those About To Rock" but it wasnt off their first album, so they havent closed EVERY concert with it. oh crap.... just realised wrong forum to post this in.... my bad
It used to be in Kickback cafe. anyhow. Trivium: Pull harder on the strings of your martyr. in every live performance i have heard/seen the have always saved that until the last song of the encore (besides festivals, when they just play it last anyway i think.)
If you're wondering, lots of bands play a reall well known/liked track last so you are still interested when you go home. If they played a mediocre song last, you wouldn't have a lasting impression of them.
As I Lay Dying always finish with Forever. and Funeral for a Friend always finish with Escape Artists Never Die...or what live sets i've seen anyway...
U2 finished with Mysterious Ways when I saw them. I'm not sure if they do that on all of their shows.
I Hate Kate finished with "Always Something" which i happen to think is an absolutely perfect song to close with. (you should listen to it ) I love having playlists..you always know what they played.
I've seen so many bands live, the only one I can remember for sure was Staind doing "It's Been A While" last, and I'm pretty sure "Give It Away" was the last for RHCP.
Coheed and Cambria (recent touring): The Willing Well IV: The Final Cut My Chemical Romance: I'm Not Okay The Used: Maybe Memories
You would be correct in your guess on RHCP.
They ended with Power of Equality once. I don't know if they do that often.
I know that from Our Newest Album Ever! (1997) up until their breakup in 2003, Five Iron Frenzy ended their shows with Every New Day. Not too sure about their shows before that.

No, Trivium end also with Ascendancy and Declaration
Hm, if I remember correctly the tracks from Casually Dressed that they played when I saw them were in album order.
