The video for Korn's new single, "Twisted Transistor", will see Lil' Jon, Xzibit, Snoop Dogg and David Banner stepping into the roles of lead singer Jonathan Davis, bassist Fieldy, guitarist Munky and drummer David Silveria, respectively. Apparently, the idea was born of frustration on the part of Davis that MTV never seemed to play rock videos anymore. Out of that came the idea to get a bunch of the band's friends who are hip-hop stars to play Korn in a video. In addition to the standard-length clip, there will also be a seven or eight-minute mini-movie version. "Twisted Transistor" is drawn from Korn's upcoming Virgin debut, See You On The Other Side, due for release December 6.
Well, that's nice. I would praise Davis for saying that if he despised rap and all that shit, but he doesn't. He's had Nas and Ice Cube on Korn songs. And he was a founding member of nu-metal, which, I'd say, helped MTV get more rap/hip-hop on the air. So, yeah. And what's with the names of their albums lately? They all suck. "Take A Look In The Mirror", "See You On The Other Side", "The Untouchables". Seriously, who thinks up this shit?
It's something you'd have to see to believe...
Wonder how many WHAAAATs and YEEEEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHs there are in that song.
Wonder how many WHAAAATs and YEEEEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHs there are in that song.
None actually, he'll probably go insane from not being able to comprehend it.
Wonder how many WHAAAATs and YEEEEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHs there are in that song.
ROLMFAO! I find the idea hilarious, I can just imagine the video clip now, the band surrounded by gothic bitches in their pimpin ride with KoRn logos everywhere ...I hope that will never happen.
