i just downloaded a file (.m4a) from a friend. the file looked fine on the cd but it started acting weird once it got on my computer. the problem is that it doesn't do anything, it should play in iTunes but it doesn't so i tried deleting it. when i hit the delete button several times, nothing happen. so i right clicked on it only some of the options appeared on the right-click menu (see screenshot).

so i tried a secure shred in spybot and i couldnt even drag it into there. i cant copy/cut and paste it anywhere. i dont know what the problem is and i dont think its a virus. so if you can think of any way to get rid of the file...please tell me!

I am the tech talk support ninja.

    Unlocker

Been using this for awhile now, adds an 'unlock' option to the right click menu so you can see what processes are using the file and you can remove them from being used.
