Over the last few weeks, I have put alot of thought into this one so listen up ... :p

I have noticed (mostly on Meteora) that there is a basic song structure for every song (not including session and foreward) This also applies to some other HT songs as well. Let me remind you that this is basic and some songs may be a bit different but they are all based on this same idea. I drew a graph thingee to show you what I mean here it is...

That's pretty cool, but the "end verse" is called a bridge.

Yeah, I did. Mostly because when I listen to a song, I visualize it in my head (the peaks and stuff) and thats how I come up with all my little discoveries, I go inside the song, or become one with the song :p But yes, everything I post is found by me unless I say different

Great work with the layout, Neil. However, The song layout was the only disappointment for me with meteora. As much as I like HT and meteora, I wish that LP had got a little more innovative. Figure.09 has a similar brigde as BY Myself and sometimes the songs may seem repetitive. What would be cool is if one verse was cleared by mike and then the second by Mike. Also, LP could start off the song with vocals as they do in Forgotten or And 1

I think that most songs by [LP] are like that. Not only in Meteora :wth:

Yes it is quite obvious Linkin Park has a certain song structure, and it's not necessarily a good thing. It's good to have variety which Linkin Park doesn't always have.

I'm going to take this and attempt to turn it into something positive.

We all (more or less) agree that LP is one of the best bands ever, right?

And we all (more or less) agree that varying the song structure would improve they're music, right?

So guess what. The best band ever can get even better.

Come on, admit it...you hate it when a band peaks at their first album....

yes, I agree, that is why LP should not make a remix album, but should try to start working on a third when they have the time
