At The Drive-In is quickly becoming one of my favorite bands of all-time. I've had their three main albums for a while (Acrobatic Tenement, In/Casino/Out, and Relationship Of Command), but I just now got around to paying attention while listening, and they're amazing. Amazing. But as Casey said a long while ago, I'm not too incredibly broken up over their break up, as The Mars Volta was born, and I absolutely LOVE The Mars Volta. And... Sparta, or whatever came out of it also. But mostly The Mars Volta, DeFacto (to an extent), and Omar's solo album. But, I have a question. An anthology/greatest hits was recently released known as This Station Is Non-Operational, and I was wondering if anyone had purchased it. I was thinking about getting it, but I'm not sure if it's worth it, as I already have all the albums. But I think there's some bonus material on it, but I'm not entirely sure of what it is. So if anyone has it, please fill me in and help me decide. Also, if you just want to comment on ATDI, feel free to do so, such as what your favorite album is, etc. I know a lot of people like Relationship Of Command, and I do too. But I also love In/Casino/Out.
I want to buy it but I have other priorities before this. I love At the Drive-In, and I have both of The Mars Volta albums.
The only real bonus material is a b-side cover of a Smiths song. The rest is all on their other albums and EPs, and the rest of the B-Sides are easily found on P2P programs. Download "Alfaro Vive, Carajo!". In my opinion, it's their best album. Although it is an EP. Oh well.
Wasn't there some type of DVD as well? And I just listened to Alfaro Vive, Carajo! this morning. It is indeed very good, but short.
