Within Temptation & Waterproof Blonde would be the next closest. No ones heard of Waterproof Blonde but they're a good girl-fronted band.
Unless you watch wrestling. [/b][/quote] True but I like Waterproof Blonde before it became Christian's theme thanks.

As far as girl-fronted bands go, try Arch Enemy or Otep. However, if you're listening to Evanescence, (I don't know a lot about Lacuna Coil) you'll be in for a rude awakening.
Portishead isn't in the same genre (They're trip-hop) as Evanescence or Nightwish, but they have a female lead singer.
If you like Evanescence, Lacuna Coil and Nightwish, then try out Sirenia, Tristania and Leaves' Eyes... They are girl-fronted but they have also male singers who support the frontgirl... They are great...
