Whereever I showcase my lyrics, this one seems to get a good response. I never really know why. I don't think it's that great, it's too long and has to regular rhythm or rhyme. But it's up to you whether you like it or not. Chain Reaction It all started when I was talking to my friend, I told him I loved you, And then he went and he said, He told you how I loved you, This all started with those words I said, It's a chain reaction and I can't stop it, And now I wish I was dead, Because of the chain reaction, Days go by, I see you, Still I hide, My feelings inside, Still get nervous around you, Even though I know, That you don't love me, The way I love you, Weeks go past, I see you everyday, Flashback to the past, I know I still feel this way, I find out more about you, Things I don't wanna know, And those are things about you, That you'd never show, You hid like this for years, It reminds me of myself, You locked away your fears, And that's something I did myself, I'm so much like you in a way, But I never realised it, I think of you everyday, And you never realised it, I just can't runaway from my feelings, No matter how much you ask me to, I still know I feel these things, You know where this is going.... I love you Let's step forward a little, About a years time, What will it be like then, Will you be mine, Or will you still be wasting yourself away, I know that It's a harsh thing to say, But you said yourself, They were your words, Not exactly but it's what you meant, But you can't say cause that would have sent, Messages out to people you know, And you can't do that, cause then they'd know it was all a show, They wouldn't look at you the same again, I know what that's like, you try to hide and then, They still get you, torment your soul, Destroy your life, and take away your goal, I think were getting to the end of the story, Remember though this is just the basics, There's still may more chapters, But I know that they couldn't face it, So I’ll end things here, Close the long book, And don't open it again, It's become my fear.
